Question Starting to look for monitors to use with my 3080 Ti/1070 setup. Question Basic questions for dual monitor KVM setup Question Video Conference Call Setup - Recommendations Question PS4 Controller stopped working on Desktop, but works on laptop, with cable on both. Question Docking station for Thunderbolt 4 Laptop If you want to walk around or sit more than 30cm away from your mic socket, you need to connect it to your phone, which you cant do without purchasing an adapter. Considering the cable is around 30cm long, it means this microphone is virtually useless. Question Considering going from a dual monitor setup to a single monitor setup (please read descrpition). This Sony mic just has a 2 segment connector, so you cannot plug it into your phone to record. Would it still be worth it to hook it up to the dac amp? Will that whole setup work? And if not, what are some alternatives?ĮDIT: I just realized that I will probably just have to get a usb recorder, since it will need to charge that way anyway. Anyway, If I go ahead and decide to buy a voice recorder to make the damn mic work and plug it into my amp, will everything work out? And what is the cheapest voice recorder that will work? But I figured that my Fiio Q1 should work for that right? Well, it only has a line-in jack, and when I plug the mic into that, nothing. Turns out I'm an idiot, and it needs something similar to phantom power, which basically means it won't work with my laptop on it's own, and instead it needs a voice recorder or something with it's own power to function. I looked for a cheap clip-on mic and found the Sony ECM CS3 for $18. So, all i was missing was a microphone to talk to my buddies while I play games and stuff. I have a Fiio Q1 DAC amp that I use with my dell laptop to make my sennheisers sound better than my crappy laptop soundcard.

Okay, basically, I want to know if this will work.
